My Anh Tran ’22 Born and raised in Hanoi, the capital city of Vietnam, going to the U.S. for college was my first independent move from my family. My main interests are science, arts, music, and foreign language. Vietnamese is my mother tongue, and I picked up English in middle school. I also started Russian in high school and plan to continue learning this language in college. I am particularly fascinated by the interaction between languages and hope to explore it at a deeper level in the future.
